Solvochem
Global Network
First established in Lebanon in 1979, as agents for international chemical companies such as Shell, Solvochem has rapidly evolved to suit the ever-growing demands of present day. Capitalising on the availability of tank storage in Lebanon, Solvochem then initiated and developed an alternate transport and delivery system for the distribution of goods to other neighbouring countries.

Thus assisting industrialists to convert to using road tank-car bulk deliveries instead of drummed liquid products, facilitating the complete work system. With the efficiency of this conversion Solvochem took the lead and expanded to establish independent bulk terminals in Aqaba, Jordan allowing them to serve the eastern part of the Levant in addition to another terminal in Adabiyah port to serve Egypt.

Solvochem's success in those markets was extended through cooperation and joint ventures to establish a marketing presence in Africa in addition to a nucleus terminal in Kenya. Today Solvochem is continuously expanding the scope of its operations. It anticipates, and is well positioned to meet the increasing demand for competitive logistics and services, as the developing economies in the area continue to require more diversified products.
Solvochem understands that every task it tackles is a challenge with its own problems, but it also offers its own opportunities. Whether they involve finance, distribution, transport resources or simply the personal touch of confidence and dependability required to maintain close relationships with customers in one of the most difficult and volatile markets in the world.
Since its conception, Solvochem has established a considerable degree of expertise in the procurement and marketing of petrochemicals and edible oils in challenging areas. Assisted by sound distribution and marketing skills, Solvochem has had the successful ability to meet the consumer's needs, creating a "tailor-made" approach to suit the challenges and needs of various countries and customers.

This is furthered by continued support from local authorities in the countries that we work with due to our commitment to health, safety and the environment. Solvochem's unique consideration to its surroundings, predominately in its relations and experiences within the Middle East and Africa, has contributed to it becoming an increasingly internationally recognised company, with several affiliated companies located in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Solvochem has built up a comprehensive expertise in the bulk distribution of chemicals and liquid oils, from marine transportation to bulk storage and then on to final delivery of products to customers. Each of these operations being an essential part of the reliable and competitive service being offered. Solvochem's acknowledged authority in the field of bulk storage of chemicals and petrochemicals has lead to strong alliances with leading suppliers in their respective fields including many large multinational companies.
