In 1999 in response to increased local market demand of Alkyd Resin and Polyvinyl Acetate (homopolymers and copolymers) The Flouty Group decided to build a polymerisation plant. Chemical Industrial Factories was established in the year 2000, producing under license by WEGSCHEIDER FARBEN, an Austrian based company and one of the leading Polymers manufacturers in Europe.
CIF has also developed a modern fully equipped laboratory, specialised in the analysis, performance testing and development of Alkyd Resins and Polyvinyl Acetates. A team of experienced chemical engineers, all experts in the polymer and polymerization industry, controls the production.
